I've been soloing XP on BLM lately. While I perfer XPing in a party, I must say, soloing the XP gets the job done. I just dinged 54 yesterday, and once I get my hands on a Quake scroll, I can move on to the next soloing camp.
This one will be more of a pain in the ass to get to though. Getting to Gustav Tunnel is rather easy compared to the depths of Pso'Xja. Still, I hope all goes well in Pso'Xja since I'll be able to use my Genius Rings now, and the AF gloves. A couple resisted Freezes here and there down in Gustav caused some problems for me, but still...it beats sitting in town lfp all day. |

XPed WAR with some LS mates last night and had a lot of fun. Just need to grab a couple more levels on it and I can mule some more of this crap I've got on me. Debating on holding all the WAR stuff on me or muling it all completely, since it's gonna be in a slow leveling set. If I do mule it all completely, might be a good time to send the PLD crap back over and try to finish that.

So, finally got BLM to 50 the other day and took care of all the AF stuff yesterday. Soloed the AF hat mob. Died once to it because I went in not fully prepared. So unprepared I had to home point because I forgot to put RR on like an idiot. Once I regrouped and head back down into the canal though, I was successful.
So, now that I have BLM to 50 and the AF outta the way, I should probably get cracking on my WAR, just get it up to 48-50 for that so leveling set Huggles was talking to me about.
Started working on my DRK haste set in the meanwhile. Got the turban and dusk gloves. Just need swift belt, homam feet and legs. Sure...no problem, get right on it.
Well, that's about it for now, fuckers. Off to lfp or something. |

So, tonight, I'm down XPing my BLM in Yhoator and I get a tell asking for a D2. Now, I can't abide this shit and tell the noob, "I'm nowhere near where you're at, sorry."
So, this moron, ole Dreamslayerx, decides "That's ok, I'll come to you. Invite me." Now, Mr. 31 MNK, if you can come to me, you can also walk your ass on back to Kazham like a good little boy. Needless to say, he started to really annoy me, so I tried to add him to blacklist. And I kept getting "Failed to add to blacklist."
"What the fuck?" I thought.
Here, it finally dawns on me. I open my blist and start counting. Sure enough...I'd reached 100 names and wasn't able to add anyone else.

Haven't really been working on the merits. I guess because I'd usually have to go on RDM to get any merits done, and frankly, main healing is about as much fun as slamming your dick in a door. But, I'm gonna have to bite the bullet sooner or later, because I want to get these merits done.
Finally got my last piece of Abyss armor last night, so I'm 5/5 on DRK relic armor now. After the last Xarcabard run, I'm 3/5 on Valor armor (still need gloves and pants). Still sitting at 1/5 for Duelist's though, but I sure as shit ain't bitching, since that one piece is the chapeau.
Other than that, just digging being over on Lunies. Getting settled in there, etc. Wasted a couple hours yesterday morning watch Unreal fighting Tiamat, and I must say, that was some quality entertainment, for damn sure. Only a third call for help or a spike flail would have made that circus even better.
So, still working on getting the rest of my purchasable RDM stuff together. Just need the staves now, and perhaps a Hedgehog bomb. I also need to look up the rest of the quests in that mannequin series so I can purchase another mannequin or two for storage reasons. I also have to get some cash together to purchase a Lu Shang's or just bite the bullet and fish up the rest of the damn moats when I get bored. Of course, if I do get one, I think I'll be taking woodworking up to the level where I can fix a broken Lu Shang's rod. If I do that, it'll be time to ship Alphabetsoup's ass down to Windurst to learn a trade. |

MP: 4 > 5 > 5 > 5 (need 19 to finish)
Attributes (STR): 9 > 9 > 9 (need 27 to finish)
Red Mage merits:
Convert: 1 > 2 > 3 > 4 > 5 (need 15 to finish)
Ice accuracy: 1 > 2 (3 to finish)
Earth accuracy: 1 > 2 (3 to finish)
Paralyze II: 4 > 5 (9 to finish)

So, I'm hearing that the SAM sub isn't what we all thought it was going to be, and fine by me, Jack. I wasn't in any mood to get it from 15 to 37, and hearing that WAR was still the best sub for DRK was a load off. Heard SAM main was all sorts of fun now, so good for those guys. I'm sure Syden and Sensed still couldn't hit the broad side of a barn though. XD
Other than that, just selling off the SAM crap I don't need to make room so I can hold DRK/PLD/RDM shit on one toon again. Once I get more levels on RDM and use up those tier III scrolls I got sitting around, even better.
Now, the age old debate, which job to get to 75 first. Unfortunately, this is decided by the player base. PLD, once I hit 70/71, kinda hit a brick wall. Getting that to 75 capped XP is gonna be like pulling teeth, but I'd perfer to get it to 75 first so I can mule all the stuff for it, since I don't see it getting much use later.
Time will tell, and we shall see. Lord knows I'm gonna have lots of free time now. |
